About Calvert Mid-Cap Fund Class I
This fund generally commits at least 80% of its net assets, which includes any borrowed capital, to common equity shares of mid-capitalization companies. The advisor classifies these mid-sized enterprises as those whose market value falls within the prevailing range of the Russell Midcap® Index at the point of acquisition. Although primarily concentrating on U.S. mid-cap firms, the fund also has the flexibility to invest in small-capitalization companies. Furthermore, holdings may include publicly traded real estate investment trusts. Up to a quarter (25%) of its net assets can also be allocated to foreign securities.
